DOS PPP with CompuServe

Does anyone have experience using any DOS PPP with CompuServe?
I tried several years ago unsuccessfully.

I can recall his having made several posts from time to time on the old
Arachne List on the subject of using DOS PPP with Compuserve. He knows
how to do it successfully.
